MEET JON
Rev. Jon Olson is a licensed and ordained pastor who is a Bay Area native. He has served in full-time ministry for nearly two decades and is experienced with performing weddings. Jon loves to work with people and connects well with all ages and backgrounds.

Jon is also a dynamic communicator and presenter, drawing frequently upon his communications experience (he has a background in radio and also does broadcasting for Microsoft). You'll find his style to be engaging and refreshing!

PLANNING
In your first planning session, Jon will listen to your needs and what you envision as part of your special day. Together you will walk through the various components of a wedding and will decide what fits. Undoubtedly you'll have special components you want worked into the wedding. Jon will help you to combine these elements into a ceremony that flows smoothly.

Additionally, Jon will help you to coordinate important details so as to take the "fear factor" out of planning a wedding. He has sample vows from which you can choose or will work with you to write your own. He has worked with couples of all ages and has the know-how to help you plan confidently.

CEREMONY
In terms of venues, Jon is experienced with both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. He has also performed weddings of all sizes: from very large ceremonies (over 500) to intimate gatherings with just a few others.

Jon will also help you think through the dynamics unique to your venue (many couples greatly appreciate the help in this area). You'll find it very helpful having an officiant who sees the "big picture" of so many different pieces that need to come together.

And Jon will work with others involved in the ceremony (DJs, musicians, family members, wedding coordinators, etc.) to ensure success on your special day.
