Paolo’s Restaurant, located on picturesque RiverPark Plaza in the heart of downtown San Jose and a venerable San José dining institution for fifty years, is the favorite venue for sophisticated and distinctive rehearsal dinners, weddings and receptions for Silicon Valley locals and visitors alike. Nationally recognized for its award-winning culinary expertise, personal service, extensive wine collection, classic ambience and old-world charm, Paolo’s offers a variety of event venues reserved for hosting the most special of celebrations.

Paolo’s visually dramatic venue - a unique urban park setting nestled along the banks of the tranquil Guadalupe River - is a stylish choice for an indoor or outdoor reception, bridal shower or rehearsal dinner.

All of Paolo’s dining rooms boast floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the expansive RiverPark Plaza and beautiful views of the Guadalupe River. Paolo’s Wine Room, ideal for intimate dining for up to 30 people, has a romantic balcony and provides views of the restaurant’s extensive Wine Spectator Award winning wine collection and the Guadalupe River. The Theatre Room which also boasts fabulous views can accommodate up to 95 guests while the restaurant’s Main Dining Room can comfortably seat up to 120 invitees. All of the venues inside the restaurant can be combined to accommodate as many as 225 special guests. Paolo’s also has exclusive use of RiverPark Plaza which can seat parties of up to 250; larger lavish galas for up to 400 can be accommodated by an indoor-outdoor combination. Paolo’s also has exclusive use of the RiverPark Lobby which boasts a 40 foot copper ceiling, rich terracotta-colored marble floors and ceiling height windows with breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River.

An outdoor celebration or wedding ceremony can be hosted next to the waterfall on RiverPark Plaza overlooking the Guadalupe River, surrounded by towering evergreen and willow trees, lush landscaping and abundance of colorful flowers.
