A former attorney, owner and cake designer Sonya Hong is passionate about cake-making and truly appreciates being part of the happy process of wedding planning. She personally meets with every client to discuss the style and theme of their wedding. She welcomes your ideas and often takes cues from invitations, dress patterns or event décor. Her Burlingame studio is filled with plenty of inspiration -- her extensive portfolio, the display gallery and a library of design books. Sonya often sketches ideas so clients can visualize their dream cake and participate in the design process. At tasting sessions, clients savor sample-sized portions of our scrumptious homemade cakes and fillings, like Death by Chocolate, Grandma's Boston Cream Cake or Butterfly's Tiramisu.
